We are learning from those of the past and around us, and are in a revolution of our own. Our voices are a powerful tool for change. Within the piece, the voices of students have a superpower. As Eban, we are in a space meant for love, safety, and security born from the efforts of so many. Black students have been using energy, time, and many sacrifices in order to advocate for our belonging. From the Black Campus Movement to the Black Student Coalition, the goal is to create a safe space in order for us to thrive. Now that we have this space, we thank those who have advocated and fought for a place to be, to exist.
